Village Street
The reconstructed 1950's village street houses three period shops and a cottage giving visitors the opportunity to explore the domestic and commercial aspects of valleys life over the past 150 years. This area also houses the 500sq ft mural and exhibition depicting the Tynewydd mining disaster of 1877.

The First floor houses the Art Gallery, where a regularly changing programme of exhibitions presents both local and national artists. Also, check out the Gallery for contemporary jewellery and unique gift ideas.

With breathtaking views of the lower Rhondda Valleys, the Valley View Restaurant is the place to relax over coffee, meet friends for lunch or take afternoon tea. The Restaurant also houses an impressive permanent collection of Welsh artists including Valeri Ganz, Nicholas Evans, David Carpanini, Mary Lloyd Jones and many more.
