Principality Collectorplan

Principality Collectorplan is an interest free credit service to help you buy contemporary art and craft in Wales.  It was set up in 1983 by The Arts Council of Wales.  The scheme is supported by the Principality Building Society.

 

  • Interest-free credit starts at £50 and runs to a maximum loan of £2,000.
  • You need only pay a 10% deposit upfront.
  • An outlay of £22.50 a month over a 10 month period pays for an original work of art worth £250.
  • You can use the credit to assist the purchase of original works of art and craft by living artists.  What's more your money will go a long way to support artistic talent in Wales.
  • Over 70 galleries throughout Wales offer the scheme.  A full list of participating venues can be found on www.collectorplan.org.uk.
  • You can buy multiple works of art from multiple galleries up to the maximum £2,000 credit facility threshhold.
  • Loans are available to UK residents aged 18 or over with a bank or building society account capable of operating direct debits.  A Principality Collectorplan loan is normally approved in 7 - 10 days.
