Some years ago Rosemary Scadden interviewed twenty former domestic servants. This presentation is based on their experiences as young girls, far away from their Welsh homes. It tells of the kind of work that they faced and how they coped. Since the majority of the women that spoke to her were from the Rhondda Valleys, it is rather poignant that their stories can be heard here in Rhondda Heritage Park.
