OCTOBER

Wednesday 3rd October  2-3.30pm Afternoon Talk ~In Service  Some years ago Rosemary Scadden interviewed twenty former domestic servants. This presentation is based on their experiences as young girls, far away from their Welsh homes.  It tells of the kind of work that they faced and how they coped.  Since the majority of the women that spoke to her were from the Rhondda Valleys, it is rather poignant that their stories can be heard here in  Rhondda Heritage Park. Support the Royal British Legion's annual poppy Appeal and help make a strong visual display of poppy crosses.  The launch will be marked with an emotive service at 11am followed by the Last Post and dipping of standards.  All are welcome.
