A recent survey has told us that customers experience a real 'Sense of Place' here at Rhondda Heritage Park. A real sense of being in Wales and experiencing Welsh heritage and culture.

Our guided tour is much acclaimed and we would love to welcome you and your customers here on our full guided tour but recognise that the minimum two hours required for a complete visit is sometimes not possible within a busy itinerary.

So, here's a few ideas.....

The Whistle Stop Tour

A shortened tour featuring 'The Bertie' Audio-Visual show and the guided Underground Experience. Enough for your customers to get a taste of life in the Valleys when mining was at its peak. One of our ex-miner guides will still be able to take your party to 'pit-bottom' for them to experience life underground plus that exciting simulated Coal Truck Ride out of the mine. Allow one hour minimum stop for the tour plus shop/toilets.

The 'Valley View' Meal Stop

The Valley View restaurant serves a range of meals and snacks and offers a wide view across the Rhondda Valley, which is returning to the former beauty of pre-mining days. Customers will get the chance to view the Grade II listed Victorian pit head buildings, experience the 'Village Street' exhibition, our Art Gallery and the opportunity to purchase Welsh souvenirs from our well-stocked Gift Shop.

With advance booking we can 'fast-track' your customers for either Lunch or a Welsh Tea. Menu's available in advance on request.

Pit Stop

If all you've got is time for a comfort break, drop in and drop out again in just 15 minutes. Customers can use the facilities and have a chance to purchase traditional Welsh souvenirs and crafts from our well-stocked Gift Shop.
